Im also finding it really hard to do the trend boards, i suck on Photoshop! i really need fabric samples to go with these too, i know what i need, its finding them thats the problem!
I've spent so much time after the christmas holidays working on my research for the container culture project, literally everyday, all day! its driving me nuts but i'm really getting in to it, i can't do anything BUT work on it, its all i'm thinking about! I've done a few samples to go in my sketch book, but i do need to do so much more!
I finished doing my 15 pages of design development today, at last! they have taken me so long to do, other people are just steaming along with them, i feel quite behind in them, and that i will never be able to catch up to the amount they have done!! although its quality not quantity! thats what i'll keep telling myself anyway! haha!!
I'm looking forward to seeing my final line up all done though! the deadlines in 13 days, so i think i will have enough time! I hope!!!
We have gone back to doing critical studies after christmas too, which is the bane of my life!! I find it really hard to get my head round, and i'm going to have to write an essay on something i don't understand! I'm sure it will be ok though, i thought i had done really bad on my presentation in crit last term, but i got my results back the other day and i got a 61, its not a high grade, but its still a 2:1!!
We have had our first Fashion, Art, and Culture lecture too, the second is tomorrow, i found it so interesting! i cant wait until we really get into it, i'm scared about the essay part of it, but really looking forward to the rest of it! I'm sure ill learn loads!!!
On saturday me and a few others of the course are going to go to Bradford and Dewsberry to get some fabric samples. Its all work work work at the minute!
